Karen,

This thread will get HUGE! That's why I suggested a weekly 'summary' but do your detailed logging on your own. Could be a fun read though... especially if you get behind a couple days!

And yes, Ed can use the same password.

For all those starting the challenge today I wanted to pass on these 2 cookbooks that we used and still use when we were first on the Paleo Challenge. These recipes are grain free, refined sugar free and low lactose (lots with no lactose). Super easy recipes and great for making condiments like ketchup, mayo and bbq sauce. Pancake/Waffles and crepes are fabulous all using almond flour. You can order almond flour from their website.

The Grain Free Gourmet and Everyday Grain Free Gourmet by Jodi Bager and Jenny Lass

Good luck to all! I was a non believer in the beginning and in the end I lost almost 20 lbs with very little effort.

Sandra,

Good question. Honest rationale on today's order was based on the fact that we missed the 1 rep BS last week so I wanted to get it in. For today specifically, the Randy Baseline was more important in my mind so it went first. However, Based on the different energy systems used between grinders and met-cons, it's usually smartest, best for a training response, to put the grinder first. Essentially you'll be able to maximize each energy system with that order. The way we did it today doesn't maximize that potential but that doesn't mean there's anything wrong with it.

If you want a simpler answer: Variety.

Hey Chad - today was a little different than usual as we did the grinder after the WOD. A lot of people made comments about being really tired, so not able to go as heavy as usual. On the upside, you're definitely warmed up first. What are your thoughts on rationale/pros & cons to doing one order vs. another?
