What is CrossFit Edmonton?

CrossFit Edmonton is a core strength and conditioning program that utilizes effective training methods such as weightlifting, body weight exercises and cardio-vascular exercises eg: running and rowing to generate high levels of fitness. Our program caters to beginner, intermediate and advanced participants by way of individualizing each work out and offering ongoing coaching to each participant. By joining CrossFit Edmonton you will have access to over 40 CrossFit classes a week and enjoy the support and guidance of our qualified coaches.



Programs

Intro To CrossFit Course

Learn the basic exercises and techniques to safely and most effectively perform the CrossFit Program.  Sign up here

This course is a pre-requisite for our ongoing adult classes

Adult Group Classes:

Over 40 classes a week, our adult group program offers a convenient time for anyone to train.

CrossFit Mamas:
CrossFit Edmonton also offers an option for parents of small children (under the age of 7).  Mamas is a chance for parents to come in for a workout without having to worry about child care. Moms and Dads alike can bring in their kids under 7 and take turns doing the workout of the day (WOD).

  • Monday, Tuesday and Thursday at 1pm and Friday at 10 am

Kettlebell Classes

  • Tuesdays and Thursday evenings at 7pm

Open Lift

  • 6 open lift times a week.  For members who would like to come in to train Olympic Weightlifting  and Powerlifting outside group classes.

L2

Programming

 L2 Programming is an option for our long term CrossFit Edmonton athletes who are looking for a more technical, more intense work out option. In taking on the L2 WOD one must be competent in the components prescribed. Eg. Squat snatch/Clean, Jerk, MU, HSPU, Pistols ect. The athletes must also understand proper recovery and be aware of over-training signs. The L2 WODs are directed at those interested in competitive CrossFit and those who are capable of higher demands. You will find the L2 option under the general WOD on the WOD page daily. It is recommended to have had at least 1 year of crossfit training prior to trying the L2. Please consult a coach if you re interested in trying.

    Intro to CrossFit Course
    Our next group Intro to CrossFit Course is May 15th to May 26th. The classes run on Tuesday and Thursday evenings at 8pm and Saturdays at 8am. Spots are limited so Register Today!
